The Madratz website design project is a plan to help provide other non-profits or activist groups with a low cost web development choice. We offer basic website deign and training to allow your group to get onto the internet and to teach you to maintain your site and build from it.

WHAT YOU GET

After talking with you about your needs we will design several mock-ups for you to choose from, as well as working continuously with to make sure the design is something you are excited about. We will then create your basic site to include all the current content you have available for it. We will also provide you with a basic template to allow you to add content to your site later.

In some limited cases we are also able to provide free hosting for your site as a subdomain of SF Revolution.net

We can also do custom image and graphic work for your site!

ABOUT THE DESIGN

Your site will be designed to meet as many of your needs as we are able to. Also we make our best effort to ensure the code for your site is simple and clean to allow it to not only work in the variety of browsers out there but also to make your ability to update it and to understand how it works as easy as possible. We use css style sheets, and attempt to make the code as compliant as we can to web standards.

COST

Currently a standard price is still being decided upon. We are dedicated however to bringing you what services we can at a very very low price. Please contact Decline at godsavethebomb@gmail.com if you are interested. The current suggestion for pricing is sixty dollars with half the money going to the infoshop and the other half going to Decline and any other developer helping to work on your project. Price will always be negotiable, our primary goal is to help you get your website going.

LIMITATIONS

Though we wish we could provide with as much assistance as you need our own schedules and other obligations prevent us from doing so. For these reasons we are unable to provide regualar ongoing maintenance of your website, so you will need someone capable of doing this. We will help train you so as to enable you to do this as easily as possible. We also can not design and set up e-commerce pages for you to sell things over the internet. Other potential areas we may not be able to provide for you are in setting up chat rooms and forums though this will depend on conditions at the time and can be discussed.

EXCEPTIONS

This project as of now is being tentatively limited to non-profits and other activist centered groups until we see how it goes and how busy it gets. However if you are a band or individual wishing to have a website, you may contact us about doing so and if we have time we will work with you as this is the next obvious extension of the project. Also if you are only interested in recieving some training on html, css, web design in general, or help with photoshop contact us and we will see what we can do to help you as well.
